This blessed salutation is well known in the Qadri tariqa. It is attributed to Shaykh Abdul Qadir al-Jilani (رحمه الله). Some benefits of this salutation are
- increase in sincere love for the Prophet (ﷺ)
- a special connection with Rasulullah (ﷺ)
- opens the doors of Kashf (spiritual ascendance) and Ziyarah
- intercession of the Prophet (ﷺ)
Just as the legendary Red Sulphur was believed by alchemists to turn base metal into pure gold, this salutation transforms the base and diseased heart into one of spiritual abundance.
